On August 14th , several Chapter 932 members met at Extreme Flight Simulations, Inc. in Gurnee Illinois for the opportunity to “fly” EFS’s 737-800NG simulator. 932’s Eric Rehm lead off the morning with a briefing and familiarization tour of the 737 cockpit and basic procedures. After that our pilot crews were put through their paces by EFS’s flight instructor. Several members also tried their hand in the Xtreme Virtual Reality Lounge where you can try any of the more the 40 different VR experiences. Everyone had a good time and no planes were crashed (permanently)!
