EAA Chapter 932 has been approved for a 2022 Ray Aviation Scholarship!

EAA National  has approved a 2022 Ray Aviation flight training scholarship for EAA Chapter 932. The EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship Fund is a scholarship program that is funded by the Ray Foundation, managed by EAA, and administered through the EAA Chapter network. Through the generous support of the Ray Foundation, EAA provides up to $10,000 to deserving youths to cover their flight training expenses, totaling $1,550,000 in scholarships annually.

As a chapter host of the Ray Aviation Scholarship program , EAA chapter 932 is tasked with identifying and selecting a motivated student to apply for the scholarship and then mentoring that student pilot as they work towards completion of an initial private pilots certificate. The Ray Aviation Flight training scholarship and the EAA’s milestones program in conjunction with JB Aviation’s Flight School helps the student to meet the scholarship requirements and obtain a pilot certificate within a year.

EAA Chapter 932 will be looking for nominations within the Chapter community. If you know of a young person between the ages of 15-19 who may be interested in pursuing flight training, please click below or contact the scholarship coordinator, Deena Schwartz, at scholarship@eaa932.org for more information and for information on completing a nomination form.
