EAA Chapter 932 Hosts “Props and Cops”

Law Enforcement professionals all over the world experience high levels of stress every day. Nationwide Chaplains and 10-41 Inc. provide wellness programs to help reduce stress and manage trauma through counseling. One of our components of counseling is “Fun”!

On Saturday September 25th, Nationwide Chaplains/10-41 Inc. and EAA chapter 932 created a fun picnic complete with airplane rides for Police Officers and families. Officers were flown by chapter members Sean Stephens, Dave Dahlburg, Dick Wydra, and Arnie Quast.  

It was a great time of music, burgers, and fun at Galt Airport in Wonder Lake, IL.  Many thanks to Galt Airport and EAA Chapter 932 for providing skilled pilots, amazing airplanes, and a beautiful airport.  Also many thanks to chapter members Bill Tobin, Stephanie McClellen, Marty Papanek, and Dave Spitzbart for setting up and helping throughout the entire event.

We hope to host more events like this for police and first responders. Thanks for helping us keep their “wings level”!
