Project Falcon StudentsWe had a really neat chapter gathering on Saturday, April 8th. A preview of our chapter activities taking place over the next few months was shared with attendees. Status of the Young Eagles Build and Fly was given, and awards for the RC building trainers were given out. Similar awards were given to the trainers who are not chapter members at the Chain of Lakes RC Club monthly meeting. Also discussed was the upcoming Young Eagles Rally scheduled for May 6, and our need for volunteers at the rally.

The gathering culminated with a presentation from Project Eagles Nest. The presentation was given by students from Paddock Lake High School that are involved with building a Vans RV12. Four of the students gave a great presentation of the program for building airplanes, and how the program supports future builds. They are currently on the fourth airplane build at the high school. We took a tour of the aircraft built by the students after the presentation.
The class is selling sweepstake tickets for an RV12 aircraft to help fund the next aircraft build project. For more information, check out their website at www.falconaviation.org.

Coffee, donuts, and lunch sandwiches from Beef Village were enjoyed by everyone during the gathering. We were highly appreciative of all who attended this gathering along with our guests from Paddock Lake High School.
