Build N’ Fly Update

The Young Eagle Build N Fly sessions are underway! We purchased 10 models and supporting equipment for the sessions, which occur every other Thursday. We chose the Flite Test Tudor to have the kids build, giving the kids something to take home with them after they are built.

Besides the building, we also have presentations on subjects such as flying airplanes and discussing the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics), with whom EAA is co-sponsoring the program.

We have quite a few experienced modelers from local AMA chapter “Chain O Lakes Eagles” who have been donating their time to help the kids build and fly their models. We are very appreciative of their help with the program.
