The first session of Chapter 932’s Build and Fly program is nearly complete with only one more class left where the kids will complete the finishing touches on the Sig LT-40 eKadet R/C airplane. We are also holding our Simulator Flying Contest where the students will test their skills flying “solo” flights on the RealFlight R/C Model Flight Simulator. The top two pilots will earn gift certificates good for flight time on the F18 simulator at Extreme Flight Simulations.
With the construction complete we will soon be heading out to the R/C flying field of our partners in this project, the Chain-O-Lakes Eagles R/C Club. There the kids will have the opportunity to fly the eKadet airplane they have built.
